A Letter

Dear Sweet Sweet Edan,

I dreamed of you again last night. This time you had red hair and blue eyes. You also looked to be about 3 months old at birth. I can remember holding you and just being so astounded that you were finally here. And you kept looking at me with curious eyes.
Your father and I are on a count down now. It seems like the days go by so slow. I wonder what you will look like, sound like and smell like. I am looking forward to every part of your birth. I love you so much and I feel like we already know each other.
Your father and I talk about you all the time. Who will you be like? Will you be outgoing or reserved? What will your laugh sound like...a little piece of heaven I am sure. Whatever you are, we don't care. We just want you and that is all. We have no expectations.
We both look forward to teaching you everything, showing you the earth and all of its beauty, sharing our life with you and watching you grow in all of this. We want to give you everything that we have and everything that we are.
Once we found out that you were coming, our lives changed dramatically. Our minds process things differently now. And let me tell you, it has been one of the most welcomed changes my life has ever been in. We thank God every single day for you and the life we now live. We have never been so abundantly blessed.
I love you so much. And you just keep on kicking so I know you love me too.

Love,
Your Mom
