Hello all. Tim here. I've got a few firsts here that I'm going to talk about.
First of all I'm going to be a father. WOW! It's so hard to wrap my mind around sometimes. The thought of this little guy suddenly appearing out of nowhere. "What's up guys? Edan here. Take care of me." It's a little scary. Mostly it's really exciting though. I can't wait to meet him and start getting to know him. I know I'm going to learn so much from him. I know he's going to continuously challenge me to become a better me. Anxiously awaiting is an understatement.
Secondly, I just tried my hand at sanding and repainting furniture. We've had this large cabinet for a year or so now using it as a pantry of sorts. When we moved we decided we were going to change it up and paint it for Edan's room to give it some "downhomedness" so to speak. So sand it and painted it I did. It was a really fun experience that I hope to continue for the rest of my life. There is a certain peace that settles onto you when alone and working on something like that.
Lastly, this is my first time blogging but it's the first of series of memories and letters that I want to start capturing for myself and my son that's soon to be here. Until next time. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
